I have to admit, when I first heard about these tiny lithium battery car jumpers, I was a skeptic. The battery is about the size of an external USB hard drive. How could it really get a large V8 engine turned over? A click over to Amazon and I purchased the Gooloo 800A Peak jump starter.
Charged it overnight, hooked up the next day, and a battery that was totally drained and not capable of holding a charge enabled me to fire up the 2003 Land Rover Range Rover! It still has plenty of charges left on the Gooloo and it’s so small, I figure I’ll keep it in the car. An added benefit, it has USB charging ports and an emergy high-intensity light that flashes, making it great for roadside emergencies.
So yes, it works, and it works great!
