Major repairs since ownership (2018): TBD
June 2019 I got an email from someone that said they had a 2003 Range Rover that needed work. They didn’t want to see it go to a junkyard and really hoped it could be restored and put back on the road. Sounded like a fun project. It was described as a 2001 and I thought it was a P38. We came to some arrangement and I had it towed to my house, from it’s home in Calvert County, Maryland.
Turns out, it’s a 2003 L322, with lots of issues! But, a fun project. All the normal errors, navigation screen is broken, engine has problems, and it’s the BMW V8. I tinkered with it, got it started, cleared some codes, and got the air suspension to lift from time to time. It was clear it needed engine work .. I kept it at my house until October 2019 and I had it towed all the way to Glen Allen, VA, Sarek Autowerke.
I got to know Sarek via the Land Rover sites and I am very impressed by his L322 for the shop. It’s a beast. What better person to help with this project?
Stay tuned, this page will be updated with progress!
