Puch Moped fuel issue troubleshooting

1978 PUch Moped Fuel Issue

I had an issue with my moped not starting. Turns out, it wasn’t getting fuel. First, make sure you see fuel in the line. Next, swap the fuel filter, they are cheap. Last, clean the little black fuel bowl and gold nut inside, as I point out in the video, to clear it of any grime. In my case, the fuel tank was cleaned as the moped sat for like 20 years, and some grime is still working past the fuel filter and clogging up the little bowl after the carburetor.
