Safe and sound in Baltimore

The life of a bagel. Are NYC bagels the best?

My morning started at 7am. Around 8am I left my house and arrived to Baltimore Penn Station for an 8:40 am train. Soon, I arrived into NYC on Amtrak around 11am from Baltimore, on the lovely Northeast Regional train. It’s a commute I do often, happy I can easily day trip into New York City.

After meetings and lunch, the most important meeting occurred. Meeting our bagel supplier in the lobby of my office for a sack of bagels to smuggle back to Baltimore.

He cycled up and chained his bike. A quick nod let him know I was ready for the pickup and was the man. A quick exchange of cash and off he went cycling down 7th avenue.  I hustled back to the 14th floor of my office with a sack of NYC bagels.

They had a fun journey and I took snaps of it to send to my wife for updates. After all, I don’t eat bagels. This smuggling effort of bagels was for her. I was just the transporter of sorts.
