Shrewsbury Markets Community Yard Sale (Shrewsbury Pennsylvania) – my experience as a vendor!

The Shrewsbury Markets in Shrewsbury Pennslyvania hosts monthly community yard sales during the season and this year I decided to go and set up a spot as a vendor. My goal was to sell kids’ stuff, some antiques, and automobilia. Follow along to see the process and my results, did I make a lot of cash? Would I go back?

From the Shrewsbury Markets website:
Get your boxes and bags of extra stuff ready for our Community Yard Sales, held each month from March to November on the Grassy Field on the hill at The Markets!

If you’re interested in selling, spaces on the grassy field are $15 which is equivalent to the size of 2 parking spaces. Spaces given on a first come first serve basis (we don’t reserve any spaces). Call 717-235-6611 for questions you may have.

As you drive into The Markets’ parking lot, make a left at the flagpole and get in line. Money will be collected upon your arrival at the top of the hill/grassy area, so we ask you to have your exact fee ready. ($15 or $30 for a double space.)

You will then be shown the next parking space for you to park. We also will not allow the sale of guns, ammunition, live animals, food, or drink. All trash must be removed and your space must be left clean at the end of the sale. Set-up time begins at 6 AM (and not before) until 8 AM.
