Luft 11 refers to the 11th edition of Luftgekühlt, an annual Porsche gathering founded by Le Mans winner Patrick Long and creative director Howie Idelson.
The word Luftgekühlt means “air-cooled” in German, and the show celebrates Porsche’s iconic air-cooled models—from early 356s and 911s to rare race cars and special builds. Unlike traditional car shows, Luft is known for its unique venues, artistic displays, and community vibe. Each car is carefully curated and staged in industrial or cultural settings (like warehouses, shipyards, and film studios), creating an immersive experience that feels more like an art exhibit than a car meet.
