Built in the 1920s, this old-school service station once fueled the rise of American car culture — and now, it’s fueling something entirely new: the future of jamzDOTnet.
⛽ The Past: A Slice of American Roadside History
Long before it became the home of YouTube unboxings, DIY how-tos, and classic car restorations, this little building was a full-service garage and gas station. Travelers cruising the road would pull in for a fill-up, a quick oil change, or a chat with the mechanic while their tires got patched.
This was more than a pit stop — it was a community hub. Rural service stations like this one kept small-town America rolling back in the day. They were built to be functional, sturdy, and iconic. And even after nearly 100 years, you can still feel that charm in every brick and beam.
🔧 The Present: Building the Ultimate Creator Space
Fast forward to today, and the station is getting a new life as the official jamzDOTnet YouTube HQ. We’re not just restoring it — we’re reimagining it as a hybrid workshop, film studio, editing bay, and showroom.
🚗 Garage Bays now house everything from a 1948 Crosley CC Sedan to a 1974 Austin FX4 to a 2003 Range Rover L322.
🎥 Filming areas are being built to showcase projects, unboxings, and restoration work.
💡 We’re adding smart lighting, solar tech, and custom DIY setups to modernize the space without erasing its soul.
🧰 The goal? To honor the past while creating the future of automotive content — all under one vintage roof.
🧱 What We’re Keeping (and What We’re Fixing)
One of the best parts of this project is the historic bones of the place — original steel beams, a hand-poured concrete floor, and a layout that tells you this was a working man’s space. We’re preserving those elements wherever we can.
But we’re also making it work for today. That means:
Upgrading power for tools and tech
Running high-speed internet in a 100-year-old garage
Creating a visually dynamic background for our YouTube videos (think vintage signs, tool walls, and creative lighting)

Gettysburg is known for its rich history, and this building fits right in. But it’s also central to jamzDOTnet’s identity: rooted in tradition, a little off the beaten path, and ready for big things. Being just outside the hustle means more room to breathe, wrench, film — and be loud if needed.
