This small stone building might not look like much at first glance, but it’s actually the old jail lockup in Red Lion, dating back to the late 1800s. Built as a short-term holding cell for the borough before prisoners were sent to the county jail, this place has seen over a century of local history pass through its iron bars.
Today, the lockup still stands, privately owned, full of character, and packed with potential. Thick stone walls and a footprint that sparks big ideas. Could this be a one-of-a-kind studio, office, museum piece, Airbnb, or just the wildest project I’ve taken on yet?
