Crabcake Factory Bayside in Fenwick Island, Delaware, has been closed indefinitely after a car drove into the restaurant’s building on Sunday afternoon, causing major structural damage and forcing the waterfront eatery to shut down while repairs are planned. Emergency crews from the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene and confirmed that everyone inside the restaurant and the vehicle got out safely, with only minor injuries reported — including soreness and stitches for an employee and an elderly couple who were shaken but unhurt.
The family-owned business thanked the community for its support, and local restaurants and patrons have organized fundraisers to help staff affected by the closure. With all that happening, it raises a question people are asking more and more in general: why do we seem to be seeing so many Tesla cars crashing lately?
